I just had to beg for TOTers

It's cold and rainy here tonight and not many kids are out. We had a few earlier in the evening while my son was eating dinner and then out TOTing himself. Since he's been back he's been waiting for all the TOTers to come so he could give out candy. NO ONE IS COMING! I had to go next door and ask if they would send their kids over again. I felt like such a loon, but my son was getting so upset. He's still waiting for more and I just don't think they're going to come.

I'm sorry. I think it was nice you asked your neighbors to come by again so your son could give out some candy. I think my son had more fun handing out candy than he did trick or treating (and he was MUCH more generous than I would have been. )

We haven't had rain since Hurricane Rita and it started pouring at about 3PM. Lot of lightning, too. So not much going in our town tonight. They did move some of the community events to indoor venues, though. My son was going to go out with his friends, but they decided to eat candy and pizza at one of the friend's house instead. No school tomorrow, either, so I hope he doesn't call too late for me to pick up him up.

We didn't have any. The police requested that children not TOT this year due to the damage from hurricane Wilma. Too many street lights out, areas without electricity, and debris still all over the place. Some places still have wires down.

9;30? Thats late. Our town "suggested curfew" was 7 pm. We had hardly any ToT'ers after say 6 pm!

We were gone for a while, but we also live in the middle of fields. Most people (like us) go to the neighborhood a ways down.
