and no, it wasn't because my date was being weird.

twilight blowed.

too much makeup+bad acting killed the story line for me. and that totally awkward first kiss scene. i seriously yelled "JUST DO IT" and the whole theatre started laughing.

geez. i wasted 6 bucks and 2 hours that i could've been sleeping.

it pretty much sucked. honestly. i'm pretty lenient, but i think that may have been the most painful theatrical experience of my life...

Shelbs, I was practically sleeping myself lol. I had my head against my boyfriend, and kept nodding off.
My friend on the other side, thought I was hilarious. (This girl is my favorite because she`s the only one I went with who hated the movie too xD)

The music made sleepy, I can`t help it.

The acting was bad, the editing was bad, and the special effects kinda sucked.
I would say the baseball scene wasn`t too bd.

yeah i'm going to avoid seeing that at all costs.
(i may be dragged by my friends though UGH)

not gonna lie, it looks putrid.
and from the reviews of been reading, my hunch is correct.

if i do see it i'd be willing to give it a chance, but i don't see it as being a movie i would enjoy at all.
i'm getting sooooo sick of hearing about it too!!
you'd think in university you could escape things like this....not so much. lol

Caitlin, don't.
I actually wanted to leave, but I wouldn't have had a way to get home.
Like you think 'This movie is going to suck, but I might be able to get through it...'
No, lol it was bad.

I was cackling and giggling hysterically the entire movie because I thought stuff was just hilarious. You know even when it wasn't.

Oh no!
I am seeing it tomorrow, and this is not the first bad review I've read.

like spiderman 3???
"you guys are my best friends!"
rotfl.

I enjoyed Spiderman 3, but I'm guessing somewhere along those lines.

Like, in the books you're sometimes thinking 'Bella's known this guy for maybe... two months? And she's already saying she loves him...'

I mean you think that's a little weird, but at least in the book they have conversations.

In the movie, like nothing is happening, and then all of a sudden she figures out what he is, and they're out in the meadow (cept it's woods) doing that stuff.

...
In the movie, I'm thinking she knew him for about.. a month? Only spoke to him for about... 3 weeks?

ugh not good news it sucks...

I'm seeing it later this weekend...

Oh noez. I'm going with my friends in like an hour.
My friend is one of *those* fans. Lol.

I'm wearing my Team Edward shirt, though... lol.
Just because the movie's gonna blow doesn't mean I don't love the books, still. xP

I hated the movie even though I expected it to be horrible I didn't think it would be that bad! Almost nothing lined up with the book that's what made it really horrible for me I hate it when movies don't match up well with the books they came from.

This doesn't sound good. I'm going to see it tomorrow. I knew it wasn't gonna be great, but my friend thinks its gonna be all that.

I'm not planning on seeing it, but I do empathize for you, Shelby.
I tried to give the soundtrack a chance, but that lasted for a minute.
[I judge movies on their soundtracks.]

Eh, I didn't think it was that good. I got trampled by alot of tweenie boppers and their mothers. Seriously it was rediculous. I really don't see a need to see it again.

I just got back from seeing it and...honestly? I think it was OK.

Was it perfect? No. And the acting really left a lot to be desired...to me, anyway. I didn't like how flat Bella seemed to be-but my sister had to point out that this was how she was SUPPOSED to come across. She's a lot more of a Twilight fan than I am....and if anything bad is said against the movie she freaks. Can't say I blame her much tho...I do the same thing for the HP movies.

They didn't cut a lot out-which I give them a lot of credit for, and they set it up perfectly for New Moon. I just hope that in the next movie some of the actors/actresses acting skills will be improved. That's the only thing that really irked me about this movie. Everything else I could deal with.

On a good note tho! Alice was PERFECT. She wasn't exactly how I pictured Alice to look, but after seeing her act, she'd dead on to Alice's personality. The same with Emmett. I loved how you could clearly tell he was having a hard time controling himself around Bella. Plus, he was absolutely adorable.

In all....I give it 3/5 stars.

If they improve on their acting by the next movie and use the increased funds they get from this one to get better special effects, I have no doubt that New Moon will awesome.

Just have faith guys.
