I just got back from universal on sunday. It was a great time. The weather was perfect. It did not get above 90 the whole time we were there.

The best thing ever happened , we got to eat at Mythos free (on Universal) with no limits on ordering other than no wine or beer. The reason for this is because universal did not properly renew my sons annual pass. And when the ladie from customer service was called to the gate to fix the problem, she repeated over and over that they would repay us for our lost time at the parks. They fixed my sons pass and gave us a meal at Mythos on them. We were allowed to order any thing we wanted. it was a great treat. We never saw the bill but I added up the bill in my head and figured that it had to of been about 150 dollars or more plus tip. We were not pigs or anything for four of us we ordered three appetizers, milkshakes, our entree, and we shared one dessert. I am sure there are many people that would of taken advantage of the situation, but the fact is we were all stuffed. I am very thankful for their gracious attention to the problem. My husband said the attention that was given to the problem is the difference between an employee taking care of a problem and a member of management taking care of a problem. The ladie which dealt with us was named Di , very nice lady and very knowledgeable.

I put my full trip report on later. And make a list of things I found out on my trip that will help others save money. And time savers that I found.

That was very nice of them to do that for you. Good customer service always pays off. Glad you had a great meal!
 
WOW! That sounds great! Glad to see Universal is taking care of it's customers. I look forward to reading the trip report. :teeth:
 
You got Di in a good mood then. I've seen her in the other type of mood. They again it was during the opening of the Mummy and she was pulling crowd control around the attraction.

I hope those who feel this way have taken the time to write to Universal and let them know how she is getting it right. So often, we are quick to complain and cause a fuss when we are not being properly serviced. I feel we should do the same when the service is good. I always fill out the customer service card--it is the least I can do. :flower: I hope others do the same ;)
