It was for rooms at Universal at RPR, HRH, or PBH for 30% off between June 30-August 13, 2011. We can't go during that time. I wish I could give it away to another DISer!

I looked at the 3rd week of July...July 18-July 22 and the only one available was RPR and it was $208 per night. I don't know what I did to get it. I do know that I have been asked to do a lot of surveys when I go on US/IOA site. Maybe that is how???

That sounds like the You first program by Loews hotel.

The pin/code for discounted room rates comes from Universal, You sign
up for e-mail & updates, promotions on their website.

They seem to be very random as to who gets one.

It is very random. My dh & I both signed up years ago for all of the emails. Last year he got a pin for the first time & this year I did. I've done a few in-park surveys over the years and he's done a few online ones. We've never booked or bought tickets directly through Universal's website and the email address I've used to book through Loew's is different from the other two. I'm thinking they pull out of a hat

DH husband received the code. At PBH, it is only available for bay view which is about $10 less per night than the GV we currently have book but we would lose our platinum upgrade to a suite. We would save $50 but lose our suite. It certainly felt great to actually get a code, though! I keep hoping AP rates for GV become available but it is highly unlikley considerating we are staying 5 nights over July 4th holiday. Good luck for all who are hoping for a code!

i thought everyone received that if they were ap holders getting the quarterly letter.

I also just got an AP pin offer for stays up to August 13th. I plan to call tomorrow to see what's available. It said you could only call. The email said for premier and preferred passholders' offer.

Just wanted to mention that this was an almost 50% savings for this PIN passholder rate.

I called this morning and asked what was left. Not much. We were looking for August 13th (a Saturday night -- higher rate) -- just one night. Only PB was available. A Bay View room that normally would be $384 for that night, was offered for $199!! Wow. That is almost half price!! While I was hoping for HR or RP, I took it. I was allowed to book 2 rooms with this offer, though the small print does say 1 room per passholder, I'm guessing that my/our profile must show that we are 2 passholders. Actually both my DH and myself got this offer, but we both had unique Pin Codes. So showing 2 APs upon check in is not a problem. Can you believe the price!

Looks like the 2 PINS are different, but similar accommodations. THe Passholder pin is about 50% off, no minimum for nights (I booked just one night -- a Saturday) and we have until June 12 to book this offer. Both of our annual passes are registered, so I guess that's why we both got this. When I gave them the code, they pulled up all of our home information.

Yes they are 2 different pins .I got the one for the aph also, but I am
already booked in Oct. with a $139.00 aph rate Sun-thurs & $169.00
