I'm so excited! I've been keeping my eye on these since they came out, but wasn't sure I wanted to spring the bucks for them, even with a coupon. They're $100 after all! But AC Moore had a 50% off coupon in last week's paper, so I decided to go for it. I can't wait to start experimenting! I think I'm the most excited about the magnet sheets. Think of the possibilities!

Ooh, lucky you!! Please let us know how you like it! I have an 850, so I can't really justify to myself buying the 900. Of course, if you find all sorts of wonderful things the 900 can do that an 850 can't...... ;)

I thought the main difference between the bigger ones was how large a piece of paper you could feed through? I hear that the 900 has an easier system to switch cartridges, but I figured it just was a little wider.

Has anyone owned two xyrons (except for the 110)?

I have the 110 and the 510 - does that count?? I've only just got the 510 and haven't tried it yet, but it has the magnetic sheets and also a laminating cartridge which I liked the sound of.

I have a 850, too. I love it, except when I have to change cartridges. My son also likes to turn the handle backwards and it's hard to re-feed the paper back through the machine. Please let us know what else the 900 can do better than the 850. Thanks!

Oh, yes, it's such a pain to change cartridges in the 850! In fact, my dh is so tired of listening to me gripe about it, he was threatening to buy me another 850 so I'd have one for laminating and one for adhesive (he was joking....I think.....). ;)

I'm thinking of buying one too, but don't know the differences between them other than the size. Sounds like from all of you that changing the cartridge in the 850 is a royal pain. Is the 900 easier? How much is the 1200? I don't know that I've seen that one at Michaels. Any other input would be greatly appreciated before I take the plunge. Thanks!

my 1200 came from the qvc outlet. I got the complete 1200 with refills and video for 60 dollars. What a buy!
