anyone think it may be a bluff to throw people off?

No, since they already did two 7.5 minute ones today.

Have a good weekend all!! The kids and I are headed to an indoor waterpark this weekend for some R&R :cool1: :cool1:

What do they mean last week's destination digits signal?:confused3

I think you have to figure out the number of bookings that were made during the $1 promo this week...I'm sure it's somewhere on their site...they might use it as a code for the time?? :confused3

One last thing...928 bookings so I'm thinking 9:28 am! :thumbsup2

See you all after the Superbowl! Hopefully I'm not too hungover to get up and do this all again on Monday! :rotfl:

:wave2:

This is another thought from someone on SD. Not the number of BOOKINGS...but the NUMBER OF DESTINATIONS BOOKED.

From the Blog:

"Since the beginning of The World for $1 sale, 928 reservations have been made for less than the cost of a movie ticket! And 48% of these reservations were for high-end, luxury hotels! The 2,197 people going on these vacations are headed to 224 different destinations with Orlando, Las Vegas, New York, Cancun and Honolulu topping the list!"

So, after 2:24

Okay don't shoot me, but am I the only one that isn't mad at LMT? I think we should be grateful that they are putting on such a creative promotion even if there are some errors/blips along the way. I feel like if I want to waste my time (which I have..two days now) it is up to me. I don't want to complain because then it deters companies from doing things like this, and look at how many lucky people have gotten it already! If I get it ...YAHOOEE, but I am prepared for the fact that I probably won't. But I do understand everyones' frustrations...I hope we all get lucky, and I hope they fix any errors they are having with the promotion.

Well said! See you all next week for more crazy adventures of the DIS gang! :grouphug:

Ohhh! Here's another thought someone posted:

224 could = Feb. 2, 4 p.m. since Feb. is the second month.

according to the blog....224 destinations....SD people are betting 2:24PM....or perhaps 3:00 since thats the number of digits (3) in the destinations....whatever....I'll be here monday....now its time to get on with my life for the weekend. See you guys Monday!:wave2:

Nope - remember, in the email, they said "Remember this on Monday: When you book your $1 deal, you can travel whenever you want, but when you look for the $1 deal, you should start after last week's destination digits signal".

Here is the quote from their blog - "The 2,197 people going on these vacations are headed to 224 different destinations"

I'm setting my alarm for 2.15am on Monday morning, and keeping my fingers crossed!

I sure hope they mean 2:24 PM!!! I don't think I can stay up that late!:scared:

I know I'm quoting myself, but as I'm thinking about this....I'm thinking this poster about 4pm could have something here. 2:24 would just seem too easy.

I needed the sleep, so I won't be too disheartened, but...

WHERE does the countdown clock appear?...is it the first hotel page that says speed book on the left and shows some random destination on the right with hotels all over the place under it?

I also have not been able to get the videos that seem permanent to do anything when I click on them.:scratchin

Sorry to be so not-in-the-know, but...there it is:cloud9:

Thanks for any info you can give

:flower3:

Well at least my 5 year old will be happy that I can actually take him to his birthday party tonight!!!!:rotfl:

I went to bed at 12:29 EST last night...I read mixed reports about when the sale was , was it at 12:30 EST or 1:27 EST like we has guessed? i can't believe I missed it. And when I signed on this morning, everyone was saying "I just go....."

FOr those that have no idea what I'm talking about: I got the promo, went through everything, it said balance due $6 and after I hit confirm it came up balance due $800+. Well here's an interesting update: I just got off of the phone with Claudia who states they can cancel my reservation with no cost to me but they cannot honor the $1 deal since they can't verify if I was in promotion time (I believe the promotion was around 1:27Am). I ask to speak to the supervisor since last night he told me my transaction was complete at 1:28 am and 40 some seconds. I also ask her when my card will be charged (because I had planned on $6 not $800+). She told me your card has already been charged, I almost die because this is my checking account debit card. As I almost pass out I sign onto my checking account and guess what is pending------a charge for $6. Now I have to wait for a manager to call me in an hour.
Spoke with the manager who said I was on a list of people that were eligible for the sale price so I got 3/11-3/17 at ASMO for $6.

here is something I found on SD makes soooooooooooo much sense...

Nowww I get it....if you notice the confirmation email from the dogs work was 3USD, it went off last night 3 times between 11:52 and 6:02!!!!

something funny......The post above this is the Wow I sold my gold thread. Post 2090 start date 3/2008

our thread 2078 started what 2 days ago we are obsessed:lmao: :rotfl2: :thumbsup2
