I dont know yet lol.. I want disney for end of August but there are 6 of use so I need 2 rooms t old key west, etc.. which show up now but a good chance they will pull them for the promo.

In lieu of the travel industries dismal outlook, Lastminutetravel.com has just launched it's "The World for a Dollar" promotion.
"Starting in January, you will have 15 minutes, Monday - Friday for 2 weeks to buy any hotel for $1 per night (for up to 7 nights). You won't know which 15 minutes you will be able to put those dollar bills to use, so sign up for our email hints to get ahead of the game."

Some helpful advice and add-ons:
1) If you have not already you might want to dowload/install check-4-change (C4C) to be used with firefox browser. This will alert you when the page changes...like when they add the clock counting down the seconds you have to book, this thing will alert you immediately. GOOGLE " C4C firefox " to find out more about it. *C4C IS A FIREFOX PLUGIN and is WILL NOT WORK FOR INTERNET EXPLORER
2) When the clock pops up and you try and search for a room you are automatically forced to watch a pop up video. DO NOT CLOSE THIS...you must watch and answer two quick questions about your travel habits. You then can search for your hotel. All hotels will show $1..choose your hotel and follow steps to book keeping in mind you only have a few precious minutes so be quick!
3) Research hotels before (or while waiting) for the magical clock. Hotels may be "undercover" but the majority are easy to figure out. You can highlight/copy and paste a portion of the description into a search engine and 9 times out of 10 it will hit on the hotel that it is. Remember the description if this is the hotel that you want to book, as it will help you locate and book it during the $1 rush.
KNOWN FACTS:
1- Although it states $1 per day it has been confirmed that you will not be charged. It will be $0 per day.
2- Some hotels that are in search results now magically disappear during the $1 time limit so have a backup hotel just in case.
3- More 5 star hotels/resorts were available during the first day but not all room types were.
4- They are not doing a 15min time block. The first day was split into (2) seperate 7min30sec time blocks. The second day has had (3) 5min clock. The third day had two 7min30sec time blocks starting between 6am and 7am EST. Times are random and video clues are crap. You just have to be on at the right time.
5- Terms and Conditions of program have change a couple of times. The wording is tricky and nobody knows for sure if they have to do a full 15mins a day nor if they even have to do one every day. We do know for sure that it is a 10 day contest running Mon-Fri between the hours of 6am est and 11pm est.
6- You may book up to a 7night stay including weekends.
7- There is a confirmed case of being able to book as far ahead as mid-January 2010, so it looks as though you should be able to book almost any period of time within the next 365 days.
They are serious about the 1 booking per person rule. They are calling every single person who has "won" to verify phone numbers. They are also tracking IPs, cookies, and checking credit card information to find duplicate addresses, names and bank info. If you are caught with more than one booking, all your bookings will be canceled.
Some Tools to make Everything Go Faster:
