I just figured how we're going to pay for our hotel!

WOW! Thanks for all the support! I just keep picturing that castle!!
I think I can....I think I can...I think I can......I hope I can:scared: :scared: :scared:

Way to go! What a great incentive to quit! Just keep picturing the castle, strolling along the Boardwalk with an ICE CREAM in your hand (vs a cigarette), and enjoying every second of your trip without taking a cigarette break. And who knows, maybe you will have more energy too!:thewave: :thewave:

Good Luck on quitting. I am doing kind of the same thing. I quit being lazy by buying 2 cups of coffee a day which only costed me 2.10 and started making it at home. It doesn't seem like much, but until my next trip, that 2.10 a day is going to add up. :sunny:

Congrats on undertaking such worthwhile goals (quitting smoking AND using the extra $$ to go to Disney--great combo!).

I quit 21 years ago after my mom had a heart attack--quitting was really tough (I was REALLY addicted--actually rolling my own from fancy French tobacco, no filter even, YEESH!), but great for the health and the budget.;)

What a great incentive. Everyone is rooting for you. Plus, you'll have more energy for the long hikes around WDW!

You can do it!!! I think you have a great goal of what to do with that money. Best wishes!!!

What an inspiration to so many others who might not have thought of this themselves. I'm sure you can do it! Stay focused on your goal. Post some photographs of earlier trips or print some pictures of places you can see yourself (without the dreaded cig). Post them on the refridgerator, the phone, near the bathroom mirror. Anyplace that will bring to mind the goal you have set for yourselves. I quit 15 years ago at 38 years old. Every single photo of me before then featured my hand with a cigarette in it.....I hate those pictures. Hey, wait a minute, I want to lose weight. I think I'll take your inspiration, and my picture idea, and post photos of clothes (swimsuits) I'd like to see myself in if I could just stick to a diet and exercise! LOL Here's to our collective good health! See you in the parks!!!:smooth: :wave2:

Good for you!!! I wish you the best of luck!!! I'd like to quit my diet Pepsi addiction and put that money in our Disney fund! If you can do it maybe I can too!!

Good luck!! I quit 16 years ago at the age of 35 and my husband quit 14 years ago at the age of 41! I wish we had put the money aside that we were saving (both of us smoked two packs a day!). I quit while I was in the hospital for cancer surgery. You can do it! You can't imagine how much better you will feel and how much more energy you will have while walking around the Disney theme parks!!

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

What a great incentive!!! My mom is a smoker who loves to go to WDW. When I see her today on Mother's day I will make this suggestion. Thanks for a great idea!:teeth:

WOW!! Thanks for all the support:blush: So far we are $60 closer to WDW! That's a meal! It's hard thou-I have to plant myself in front of the computer since we don't smoke in the house! The hardest place is at work!! I hope I can do this! Six days so far-it's no longer physical acciction!! :bitelip:

Hi,

Just want to encourage you now that you've made it through the toughest part. Yes, the toughest part is over. Those first seven days... Think about how many people want to do what you are doing, but don't have what it takes to get through those first seven days. You are treading a more magical path that you as yet know. Keep your eye on the castle!
