I have 4 children ... 12, 11 & a dd who turns 3 on the trip and a 9 month old.

We are flying & will gate check the strollers.

I have a brand new Baby Trend Double Jogging Stroller. I also have 2 Graco strollers (the ones that the carseat snap into, so bigger strollers)

Those w/ two around my children's ages ... would you bring the double? I'm thinking it will be a pain in the parks, in the airport etc.

Bring just the one Graco and stop at Walmart in Orlando and just pick up a cheapy stroller for the 3 year old and if we want bring it back or just leave it?

I did sign up for the stroller swap of a Sit-n-Stand but I'm not sure that will work w/ the 3 year old. It doesn't look like I will be able to recline the seat if the baby is sleeping and the 3 year old is in back. It also doesn't look that comfortable.

I have a Maclaren double stroller that I've brought to WDW many times and I've never had a problem with it in the parks or the airport. I'll be bringing it for my two younger ones this time around who are 3 and 13 months.

ETA: I wouldn't personally bring two bulky strollers with me. I have brought two umbrella type strollers in the past (that recline) and that works well, too. I just feel like the travel system strollers are too cumbersome.

My Dh hated taking strollers on the plane, but you ain't talking to him!

Usually they check it at the gate as you are getting ready to board the plane (at least in KC they do) and then you have to wait a few minutes in Orlando, but not a ton of time. I would take them and then the kids will be comfortable and you can save money.

There is an ad here for "Orlando Stroller Rentals" as I type.. might that be a better option?

I would go w/ one double if your kids are comfortable in it. Because what if DH and the older 2 wanted to go off on a ride and the wait was long....you either sit w/ both strollers or you try to push 2. I was part of a stroller swap w/ a graco ipo and loved it. But its not on here.

Our Graco duoglide has been with us on all 4 trips to Disney. We are selling it this year and I will be sad to see it go.

The airlines will gate check the double stroller so that will be a breeze. We always fly Southwest and they always gate check our stroller. We then have it immediately available when we get off the flight.

The only hassle would be if you're staying onsite and using WDW transportation as you have to fold it on the buses. However, you would have to fold your single stroller on the bus.

I would bring the double so that both seats would be available for your youngest two. Renting a double stroller at Disney is very expensive, and they would probably be more comfortable in the stroller they are used to being in.

People on here have complained that these strollers are too heavy and hard to push; however, as I said before we brought ours on all of our family vacations and did not have any problems walking through the parks with it. It's a great workout - I always lose a couple of pounds on our Disney trips!
