I just don't know how to react

Well, when DH was young he climbed a tree to get his kite and fell. He landed with his legs crossed (indian style) and broke one leg in several places and the other in one place. He was one of those kids who was always in the emergency room growing up. Now he is 35 and ok except for some scars. I just hope it's not hereditary!

I'm gald your DD is ok! :)

Believe it or not I still climb trees!! It is just a form of therapy & excersise for me I guess. I was out climbing trees 3 weeks ago and ended up losing my cell phone. LOL. But seriously, I am glad she is ok!

Did she have binoculars? :teeth: :rotfl:

Give her a height limit (nothing over 15 ft.) or so.

That's how my DD broke her arm. Not what you want to hear, I suppose. But I'm just glad she didn't break her neck.

She was back to climbing trees a year later. While it made us both nervous, we don't want her to live in a bubble. Trust me - I completely understand how nerve-racking it is. But I'm so proud that she didn't become encompassed by fear after the event.
