I do this with my dad all the time.
I call asking if he has forgotten to pick me up and he's like I'm in the driveway.
Well last week I called and I was sitting at my mom's computer in front of the huge window that looks out on my driveway...and I called him and he said in the driveway...I snapped back with no you're not because I am looking out there and I don't see you.

Yeah It was funnier in my head.
