I just bought AKV

Well, I paid my deposit and the contract is being mailed. But that is good enough for me!!!!
I have been reading and reading all the info on these boards the past couple of days and I know I have made a great decision...it was so neat to hear the sales person say "Welcome Home".

Me too! I just ordered my contract and paid my deposit on Wednesday. I can't wait to get it in the mail and finalize everything! My trip for next May 9-16 at the new Kidani village is already booked and we can call on Oct 3 to book the first week of May at SSR using our developer points. I'm so excited

Just after ordering the contract I was getting a little nervous. Then I told DS4 about being able to stay at the Animal Kingdom. His eyes got bigger and bigger as I told him about where we would stay and seeing the animals from our room. When I asked him what he thought about that, he got the biggest grin and just giggled. That sealed the deal for me!

Congrats.................and by the way....ADD ME IN TOO. We paid our deposit last Friday for an add on at AKV and we are using our SSR points in Nov. and plan on staying at AKV next July.

Congrats....we bought at AKV last year and will be making our first trip there once Kidani is finished.....cant wait until Oct 09!

In the mean time will have to settle for a week at the Beach Club in March....poor me

Thank you all for your Welcomes. I am truly excited about this next stage of my Disney vacationing.
Since I get the developer points, I think I may go to Disneyland for afew nights next year.
I have never been and I have a free roundtrip rapid reward with Southwest. So free place to stay and free airfare makes for a fun vacation!
Now I need to decide when I want to stay at the AKV too, Boy all this planning is going to be fun.
