I just booked the Dolphin...can it get better??

Booked the Dolphin for Nov 2-5, using the Entertainment card and got a rate of $147.50 per night. I now the Dolphin is usually anywhere from $199-$235....so I know this is a good deal. What I was wondering was, could I have applied the new room only codes and gotten a better deal? Never stayed at the Dolphin or the Swan, will I still feel the Disney magic without the Mickey soaps????

I just stayed there in June for the first time and I was surprised I felt the Disney touch and I love that location. You must try the Ice cream shop it is the best. I know you will like it. I have stayed at the BC/YV and GF along with the moderates and I have to say the stay at the Dolphin was really nice and I always thought I would not like it and I was surprise looking to go back in the Spring and will stay there. Have a good trip

You will love it.
Heavenly beds.
Wonderful 3 acre pool with a waterfall and rock slide.
Lap pool and jacuzzi too.
Towels available at the pool. No need to bring them from your
room.

You can walk to EPCOT or boat ride. Suggest boat ride to MGM, it's a bit for to walk. Bus to other Parks.

Walk to the Boardwalk for the shops, a bite to eat, ride a bike
or see the entertainment.

You may be able to see the MGM or EPCOT fireworks from
your room.

Make PS's from the Dolphin front desk.
But you have to go to a WDW resort to pick up HDD tickets.

Lots of resturants to select from - Dolphin, Swan, Boardwalk,
Yatch & Beach Club.

Very nice to walk around the lake at night.

Best coffee is right off the main lobby before you go down the
escalator on the left. (find the coffee bar)

Oh, yes - you will feel the Disney Magic. With that location, how could you not? I have had wonderful views of Epcot & of MGM from my rooms - not to mention how glorious the Boardwalk looks when it's all lit up at night. The pool is marvelous, the staff is so helpful & gracious - I just love the Swan & Dolphin & to tell you the truth, I was skeptical also. But once you've stayed there, you may find yourself back again & again!

I was also skeptical the first time I booked it but the teachers rate was so great, I couldn't turn it down. I ended up loving it!!! The beds were AMAZING, the restaurants were conveniant, and I usually got the hot tub to myself.

I'm going in October and no discounts were available during my stay. I'm paying $100 more than you a night but it's still worth it.
