JetBlue just announced direct flights from my home airport to Orlando and has a special today-only promo for $17 flights. We are going down in May already, but for $17 each, heck yeah I'll go down again in December. Pull my leg. OK, if I must.
Doin' a happy dance!

party: How awesome is that!!! Congratulations on such a steal for airfare. Sadly we don't have a Jetblue hub in Louisville.

Albany. To Orlando and Ft Lauderdale, I belueve.

Yep. Flying out of Albany, New York to Orlando and I think Fort Lauderdale, Florida as was mentioned above. I believe the dates were between December 10th to 17th, if I remember correctly. I was just looking on JetBlue site but I could not find any left at this price. Congratulations to all of those whom were able to snag that deal!!

Cindy is correct. Albany is our departing airport. They were selling out FAST!

Missed out! That's too bad, as Albany is our local airport too. How did you find out about it? I am a true blue member and get plenty of emails, but not one about this.
Congrats to you!!!!

how about bags and seats. what's the final cost round trip?

I also fly out of Albany and when I look up albany to orlando it does not have a direct flight. Only Cape Air to Boston and Boston to Orlando. Where on the jet blue sight are you finding direct flights

From JetBlue's Facebook page:
Are you down with a new upstate route? Starting 12/10/15, enjoy nonstop flights between Albany, NY and Fort Lauderdale or Orlando!

For the person who asked about bags and seats: Currently the first checked bag is free on JetBlue, although I have read that they plan to change that. Carryon bag also is free. You do not have to pay to choose a seat assignment. You can pay extra for extra legroom or to board the plane early, but if you don't want those options you don't pay for them.

I got them too- for the 11 until the 17th. Can't beat $130 total for a family of 4!

I saw the press release online and jumped on it. Tried to get some about 15 minutes later for friends and they were sold out except for random single seats
