I just booked another trip

I leave PVD on Wednesday morning, 12/22 and will come back on Christmas Day (afternoon). My daughter and I are going for our 2nd Thanksgiving trip, but my best friend and her husband are going to WDW Dec 16 - 25 and keep asking me to go....They're renting a house in Kissimee, the only drawback is their son, his girlfriend and their infant son and 2 of the sons friends are tagging along...

I've never been to WDW at Christmas time. I've seen the decorations at Thanksgiving, but I've never "experienced" actual Christmas. My daughter doesn't want to go because (this is inconcievable), she said she's having Disney overload!! but mostly because of their son and girlfriend (they can be obnoxious). Plus, the way I look at it is; I'll be at WDW, it's only 3 days and I'm not going to be with them 24/7... they have their own rental car and we're doing our own thing at the parks. So at least this way, I don't have to worry about a pet sitter, she will take care of the dog and kittens for me).

I'll still get to spend most of Christmas Day with my daughter and be at WDW the same day... how much better can it get???

Disney overload? Is there such a thing? I drag my poor kids down there all the time. I have a trip planned for Dec 26 - Jan 2. Feb 17 - Feb 21. March 25 - April 4 and going back June 11 and staying until July 31. (camping at Ft Wilderness). Hubby keeps telling me I have created monsters but when you ask the kids, there is only 1 place they want to go! We stayed 3 weeks last July and they still complained they did not get to do everything on their list! Have a great time on your trips!!! I don't think it's Disney overload, couldn't be, couldn't be, oh dear.....I hope not and if it is, I hope they have a shot for that .

Please write and tell us all about it! I am excited to learn as much as I can about WDW at Christmas, since my sister and I want to try and go there between Thanksgiving and Christmas in 2006! Wish I was going now too!
