When you get on base, be sure to try one of the orientation sessions to acquaint yourself with the base itself. DH will be able to give you a tour of the ship, sub, whatver he's assigned to. Get involved with the Wive's Clubs. I've found some are great and some are catty. Learn what you need to and take advantage of what you can. Hopefully, it will be one of the awesome Wives Clubs.
