a Polar Bear!!! 
So the other day DS(5) came up to me and told me he wanted to save the polar bears. He said pretty soon there will be no more polar bears and he wanted to help save them. I wondered how on earth he found out this info. Then the commercial came on as we watched tv a few days later and he said, "you see what is happening to them?" Then he had tears in his eyes! I told him we can definitely help them. So I just went to the WWF(world wildlife federation) to donate and saw that you could adopt a polar bear in anyones name! He has no idea and I can't wait to see his face when he gets the adoption papers and photo in the mail!!! How cool is that?

I think I may go adopt an animal now. Actually put my money to some good use.
I may have to adopt a polar bear for DS who is 9 for Christmas. Isn't it nice to have nice, sensitive DS's -- I try to remember that when he is being all boy!
