I am a member of the YMCA and they have this cool system called Fitlynx that keeps track of all your workouts, the time, the distance and the amount of calories that you burn. You can even log onto their website and view your stats....and you can compare yourself to others at your gym. This was mine for the month of March
My number of workouts (days worked out) was 26....that means there were only 5 days in the month that I didn't work out (and those were days that we went to Disney so I still got some walking in).
The amount of weights that I lifted for the month is equal to 34 volkswagon beetles.
You earn fitpoints for the amount of time you workout and I ranked, out of all the females in the gym.....# 6.
And for calories...out of my age group which consisted of 186 women, I ranked #2
It's nice to have a bit of competition with people I don't even know. There is me and one other member that go neck and neck with the calories and fit points. She beat me for the fitpoints by about 500 points. Oh well, theres always this month to beat her.
