go to WDW. We are leaving in 14 days for an 11 night stay at Pop. Seems to be that there are many rehabs going on at the same time. I mean we have RN rollercoaster, Spaceship Earth, the Italian Restaurant, Teppanyaki, all closed when we are down. I may have even missed others. Obviously we would have hit all of them. I guess this just gives us a chance to broaden our horizons and see attractions we dont normally visit and eat at places that we have never been.

Not to mention, the resorts seem like they are booked to capacity.

Anybody else feel like me???

Im also pretty scared about the resorts filled to capacity:scared1: We leave in 11 days, and have been going to Disney every Sept. for the past 4 years and it has never been this busy!!

Im going to miss RNR and SE too!!

the Free Dining packages appear to have sold out but that doesn't mean the resorts are full. I was able to add an extra day to my pachage just a couple of weeks ago. Wouldn't have been able if the resorts were full and we're staying at Pop. No one is being moved to the DVC resorts as they were during Labor Day. I think we'll be fine!:thumbsup2

I have been trying for about 9 days now to add an extra day at Pop in two weeks and it is booked to capacity. Could not get standard or a preferred room.

Try asking for Guest Relations. The regular CRO CMs can't do it but Guest Relations can if there's room at the inn!! I really didn't have any trouble doing this although it took 3 calls to get it all straight.

to GR twice. They said Pop cannot accommodate us, but they could get us in at ASMu preferred, standards were gone.

This fall does seem like a bad season for big rehabs. I guess it just has to happen that way sometimes. I'm sure you'll have a blast anyhow.

I wouldn't lose any sleep about big crowds in mid-September. WDW's room inventory is an enigma.

I'm going the same time. Don't worry, just because the hotels are "booked" doesn't mean there's gonna be tons of crowds. Sure the restaurants might be full but who cares? We'll be at DISNEY!?! Lol.

Anyhoo, I'm not worried 'bout the crowds.

I guess after school starts is a slow time to do much needed maintenance and rehab on the rides. Unfortunately, I have been to WDW twice, both times in Sept - Oct time frame and I have yet to see the Living Seas because either the tanks were being cleaned or it was closed for refurbishment!! Guess I have a reason to go back! :thumbsup2

If you are on the free dining plan they are booked. We tried to switch a couple of weeks ago and they said there was nothing available even if we wanted to upgrade. I found that odd so i went on the website and tried booking a trip during the same time and there were rooms available. So, we called and asked why that was and they said that all the free dining was booked up but that only part of the resort is reserved for free dining but that there are still rooms for people that missed out on the free dining but still want to book. So, even though it sounds like everything is at capacity, rest assured it is not:goodvibes

It will be fine. I agree the resorts are most likely not full to capacity. We have gone for years in Sept. and we barely see a soul in the resorts and the parks are easy sailing. No worries!!

I always thought the point was so much to do on Disney property that they could afford to take a few attractions down for rehab and still offer a world class experience. Must have been wrong on that one. :confused3

Well, you'll be one of the earliest visitors to the newly-rehabbed HM -- most folks in these parts would kill for that alone!

I will be there at the same time and I can't wait. It is go to be GREAT.:dance3: :rockband: party:

I leave in 3 weeks. My last 2 trips have been in June. I cant wait to see the difference.

I Will be there in 2 weeks 6 days, we were there last year and no crowds....and the ones that we did have were light.......so No worries.....I have been there with full on Closing because they were at capacity Christmas day 2005.......So nothing worries me anymore......You'll have fun and So will i,lol.............:rotfl2: :yay: :cheer2: :yay: :cheer2: :yay: :cheer2:

How many of you plan on booking the Bounceback Free Dining offer for next year while you are there? Just trying to keep a loose count of how well it is going over this summer since it's the first time they've offered it to guests staying at a WDW resort between 8/31-9/28/07. I know I'll never figure out Disney's marketing trends though! So far it seems to be about equal of DISers booking vs DISers mad because they didn't know it was going on until they came back home ;)
