I think out of all the hundreds of trips I have made to WDW this last one is in the top 3 best trips ever!
This was our first time staying at the Poly. We booked concierge. WOW! Loved the Hawaii building and the concierge lounge and all those benefits!
But the best thing ever? Was the rooms location and the view. #1506 looked right at the castle, perfect, breath taking view. In fact I fell asleep both nights watching the castle change colors. Cause you know why? Magic Kingdom was my back yard, literally! I think I had the best view in the entire 'world'.
I think the only draw back of the entire resort is that they have NO hot tubs. Now soaking in the hot tubs while on a December Disney trip is one of my traditions. So not having a hot tub to throw my aching feet/body into at night was a shame but not too much of a draw back NOT to stay at the resort again.
We really loved staying there and I would HIGHLY recommend to everyone to stay Poly concierge atleast once. Cause that is definitely the way to fly. The convienience of the monorail was great.
This was a perfect resort for families and for couples. If the weather had been sunny and warm I think the romance of this resort would have been almost palpable.
Thank you to everyone who wrote the Poly's praises and eased my fear of an old stinky worn-out resort. Cause it wasn't. It was clean, fresh, maintained and impressive.
