Is it true? Is DDE available to all DVC members as of Jan 2006? Has it always been?

It was my understanding that it was available to Florida residents and AP holders only. But another cetain website said that starting Jan 2nd, 2006 it is available to all DVC members.

Can someone confirm this? And is it available to a guest of the DVC member?

Since the start of 2005, DDE has been available to AP holders for $50. Begininng January 3, 2006 DVC members may add the Disney Dining Plan to reservations for travel after April 1, 2006.

There has been no notice of any DDE benefit specifically for DVC members - except if they are FL residents or AP holders.

secox28, just to clarify what WebmasterDoc is saying the DDE is Disney Dining Experience which is a membership that offers a discount on dining and is currently available only to APH and Florida residents. The DDP is Disney Dining Plan and will be available to DVC members for arrivals in April.
