I have to confess

I am one of those people who picks on those who are into reality tv! But I have come to realize that I AM one of those people!!

No I don't watch the game show types (Survivor, BB, or AR), not even the dating/love genres (Batchlor etc).

NO I prefer the voyeuristic type like Airline and Family Plots, and the medical types like Critical Hour and Trauma, and I love the Crime and Drama genre..Forensic Files, Cold Case Files, and The New Detectives, and I certainly can't forget the home decorating shows...Trading Spaces, Monster House, and While you were out, and anything on Food TV.

Oh my, I never considered these reality television until last night as i sat glued to Family Plots and Airline and Monster House when suddenly it hit me. This IS reality tv and I AM a reality junkie! It's so bad that my 4 year old when he gets into trouble and he tries to blame some one else for something he did, I ask him "Who has to wear the red shirt?" And he answers because he watches too, "Me, its all my fault!"

Don't ask me what's on the major networks, because I don't have a clue! But ask me when just about any of the other reality type shows come on and I know them by heart now!! being on maternity leave helps to learn the tv schedule!

So I humbly offer my sincerest apology to those reality junkies who watch the Survivor, Batchelor et al., I have been making fun of you for too terribly long and for that I'm sorry. I have now joined your ranks!!

I watched some of Monster House last night, in fact. I have never seen a team fail the build! Have you? It didn't really look like they had that much to do, either.

hehe Glad I'm not the only one!

Last night's Monster House looked like it was going to fail when that blonde girl said she was there just to get the tools! I was glad to see the other three come back and help finish the house. I've never seen one where they have failed, and it was sad too because if they hadn't messed around with that darn chair like they did (the two blondes!) they might have made it even with their curfew!

Thanks for letting me know that I'm not alone in my reality junkiedom!
