How do you make the Mickey ears out of the two zeros in 2008? I know it's relatively simple, but I can't figure it out.

Just do the 2008 on one layer and the 0 on another layer above or beneath it.

I thought there was some way to do it in the character map? I don't know where I got that from. Anybody know?

I don't know what a character map is? I use Photo Impact. I do the 2008 in a font, do all the coloring and formatting I am going to do, Copy one of the 0's, paste it a little below the 00, then make it bigger until it looks right. not very scientific, but it works? I changed the font on the one below as I wanted it to be more rounded than the 00's above it.
