I just got one today -- a present from DH and the kids -- and had a great time taking pictures. We went to the zoo so I had lots of opprotunities. And, it's really nice to be able to say, hmm, he closed his eyes or he moved when I didn't want him to and just get rid of that picture. It's going to be fun learning how to use it. I did it, I did it. Don't know what I'm really doing, but with a 256M card, I should be ready to hit disney Tuesday, right??? First formal pic is my dd's face when she finds out she's not going to the dentist, she's going to disney!!!!

Next question....

I have resolution set at medium and superfine compression. Prints will be 4 x 6's with a couple 5 x 7's. Does that work??? Fine instead of superfine? High instead of meduim??? I read Zurgs' helpful hints on WDWIG, but I'm still confused....

I'm confused about what you just said. On my digital, I have to set it for the lowest resolution to email or upload pics because if I don't, it takes forever to attach them.

Hmmm, if I'm going to send off for prints (like to wal-mart) just wanted to get decent quality photos. My choice is high, medium or low resolutions and super-fine, fine and ?? compression. The resolution is the # of pixels.

Set at medium, superfine, a couple pics loaded up to the computer really fast. And I got a flash card reader for uploading.

Make better sense???
