I have the weirdest cat!! -- Update: He's also the laziest!

HAHAHA! We have 4 cats. the younger 2 (ages 2 and 1 yr old) both RUN For the printer as soon as I turn it on. Also, we never have to worry about misplacing a phone. If the phone rings (cell OR house phone), the 2yr old runs straight to it like a pointer, and yips like she's ringing too.

Oh, and our 1yr old cat LOVES running water. If we turn on any sink in the house, she comes FLYING from wherever she was sound asleep 3 seconds prior, and sticks her face, neck, and head right into the stream of water. It's the ONLY time we just can't keep her off the counters.

And forgot...if I whistle, play Irish tin whistle, or sing in a high falsetto, that same crazy 1 yr old cat stalks in, stands up tall, and PUNCHES me in the head over and over till I stop. I'm just glad she keeps her claws put away for that!

I have two cats, and they both go nuts over.. the CAN OPENER!! Apparently, they've learned that to open a can of tuna, it requires two things: a can opener and that "pop" noise that cans make when you stick the can opener on it and pop the seal. So now every time I get the can opener out of the drawer, they come running into the kitchen. As soon as they hear the "pop" noise, all hell breaks loose. :rotfl: They whiiiine and cry and paw at my legs. I swear, I can't open a can of peas anymore without them making a huge production out of it!

Sounds like my cats... Pavlov took over with them. Usually using the can opener at one time (mostly have pull-tab cat food cans now) meant FOOD. So now, they come running when I, or Mom, opens a can of peas.

I've had to nudge Boo out of the way and sometimes she'd turn and attack my bedroom slipper (with my foot still inside!).

Blackie will stick his head under the dripping faucet and let the water drip onto his head and neck. Then he wants to be petted.

We have 5 cats and some of the things they do can be strange. Our newest addition has a thing for sweet tea or green tea. If you have a glass a tea on the end table, you have to put something on top of it otherwise she will put her mug in the glass and drink from it.

Tinker, our only male, gets into everything. He seems to be the official overseer of everything. He has to be there to see what is going on and make sure it is done right.

my cat today, so sassy, she has two bad front paws from being declawed (and frostbite in her early life) now she can stand on both paws for long periods and be fine. My ma comes in to visit and the cat leaps up, and stands with one paw up looking pathetic. so mom feeds her. The cat walks away and comes over to my BFF and does the same thing. Spoiled cat has figured out that if she looks pathetic she gets fed.
I also have a water running cat. Its fun watching him try to get his big cat butt on my grandmas little sink (old style, no counter) without falling in.

I just had to update this... Jake is also now the laziest cat I have ever had. As I type this, he is *lying down* next to his water dish, stretched completely out, lazily dabbing one paw into the water and then licking it off. Can't even be bothered to sit up. I don't know why I pay for cable -- just having cats is more entertaining than any tv show. LOL

My cat flips out when I play Dance Dance Revolution. Even if I play upstairs and he is downstairs, he will come racing upstairs. He usually watches me quietly for a minute, then absolutely flips out and races around the room, jumping on and off stuff.

We have 6 inside cats and they all come running if they hear a bag of treats (think pounce treats) rattling or anything that makes a similar sound. Each of them have their own little quirks too.

Alfie is the talker. She talks more than I do and loves running water. She sits in the sink while I brush my teeth and I leave the water on so she can play in it and drink. She also loves DS19!!! :lovestruc

Squirt blossom thinks she is the mama of the new DGS. She has to know what is going on with him at all times and if he cries, you had better be on top of it to help him. She also loves the peel off part of the milk jug lids.

Prozac is huge and wakes me up by popping me in the face or poking me in the ribs when he wants to be rubbed. He will also stand on his back legs and grab me on the behind to pet him.

Bro is scared of his own shadow and loves laundry--well, atleast more than the others but they all love a load of laudry!!

Baby Girl sleeps on a pillow above my head and is afraid to be alone. She will cry if she looks around and no one is in the same room as her. We just holler "we're in here Baby Girl" and she comes running!! She also likes to lick the outside of coke cans. I wash them first!!

Raerae is our little thief. She takes food off your plate if you're not watching! Never take your eyes off the food!! She also has a thing for fake flowers. She picks the heads of the flowers off and throws them in the air and chases them.
