Hi,

I have never been to Disney's Hilton Head Resort, but I am thinking about heading down there the last weekend of September (Thursday to Sunday) with my kids.

My kids are 10 & 11 and they LOVE Disney kids' clubs (Beach Club, Aulani, DCL)--- how is the kids club at HHI? Will it even be open since it is not the summer? I also have a 14-year-old--- anything for the teens?

I also read about the Longview Cooking Club but can't seem to find much information. What type of excursions are there?

Thanks in advance!!!!! I appreciate any information!!!!!:beach:

The Longview Cooking Club is no more. It was discontinued in the spring of 2005. However, Gordon still works there, in the Mercantile, and is a great source for "Where should we eat?" questions.

Teen activities=I know of two. There's a teens night out-where the resort takes teens to a movie and pizza. Also, last time we were there, there was a recreation-sponsored billiards tournament going on. I don't know if that's a regular activity, though.

The kayaking in the back bay was alot of fun, my kids (11, 13 and 17) really enjoyed it. You would have to accompany them. The guide was knowledgeable and narrated as we moved along, we saw dolphins surfacing near us. There is even a DVC discount - Wednesdays I think - you can sign up near the pool.

There is no "kids Club" at HHI on a regular basis. However there are nights that are called "kids night out" or "kids night in" which are designed to give parents a night out. They only occur however once or twice during the week.

Although the resort offers many activities, don't forget looking at island wide activities. The island has many to choose from for individuals and the whole family.
