Went to WDW for Easter for a last minute trip. All DVC rooms were booked but we did get a room at the Poly. The room was very nice and spacious for a hotel room and had the extra bed/couch.
When we checked in my DD asked where the other rooms were. And then my son asked where we were going to keep all our snack since there wasn't a kitchen, and where is the DVD player and the big bath tub?
My wife and I look at each other and laughed. They have never experience the one room hotel room shared by the whole family like we had when we were kids. DVC has really spoiled us.

Must be some kind of record - under 5 minutes, DS was ruined and DH headed for the phone to take the tour!
) we're staying at POR and I'm thinking they'll go into shock after the first night. One night isn't too bad, but a whole week may drive us all bonkers!
It's a good kind of spoiled.
) as my little cousin will be competing in gymnastics at the Wyndam Palace in DTD in June....we were discussing sleeping arrangements as it would be me,my 2 kids (one is under 3) and my mom and possibly my aunt...when my mom turned around and said "you mean there's no couch?"....the past few yrs if she's gone to WDW it's been staying with us in at least a 1bdrm or larger and now after yesterday I realized I've spoiled my mom! lol
