I have pink eye!

Yuck. This is disgusting. My eye is swollen shut and it's oozing. I have been spraying everything with Lysol and constantly washing my hands. When I woke up today I felt fine and my eye wasn't even itching or anything. Then at about 10:30am, BAM it started itching and got blood red. It has progressively gotten worse as the day has gone on. I did get into see a doctor and have antibiotic eye drops so hopefully it will go away soon.

Ok I just wanted to whine a little. Thanks for listening. Whine, whine, whine.

Need some cheese with that whine, LOL. I have had pink eye and its no fun. Hope your eye gets better real fast. Are they treating both eyes. Its very contagious so you might ask if you should.

pink eye is no fun!!!! one of my daycare children just went home with it yesterday--talking about using a whole can of lysol!!!!!!!! right know no one else has gotten it--knock on wood anyway, if your other eye starts to feel ichy you can use the same drops you have for your other eye!

I was afriad to even open the thread! I can't stand pinnkeye, and I've only had it once.
The only thing worse was when I had poison ivy in my eyes (and feet, legs, arms, other areas ). I must have rolled in the stuff.

OK I'll make you feel better. Had Pinkeye last week and today had a root canal!! It doesn't get worse than this(oops I better not say that !

I have had it also, it is no fun...but I can say, it heals fairly quickly...so hang in there!

I think I can even top that!!!

3 weeks ago I had pink eye
2 weeks ago I had rotavirus along with the rest of my family
1 week ago DD#2 - 8months old got tubes in her ears
This week I found out that Thrush is in DD#2's daycare room of which I am sure she will get.

Anyway - good luck with the pink eye
Don't share towels and change your bedding everyday - especially your pillow case.

I am on the mend I think. My eye is still swollen but no more gunk coming out. I have never washed my hands so much! Gotta go wash another load of sheets. Thanks for the well wishes.
