I need to cook an Easter Ham at 325 degrees, but also prime rib at 350 degrees for Easter dinner. Does anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking of putting the ham in a crock pot, but stupid ex put the crock pot on the stove 2 days after and turned the burner on!

Also, since i'm here does anyone have a receipe for coco cola ham?

Buy an electric roaster oven. Costs around $40. Plug it into the outlet. Works just like a real oven only much better results. We have 2. holiday meals are easy. Cook the meats in the roaster ovens and the regular oven is free for mac and cheese, rolls, etc. Everything gets done at the same time.

I'd simply cook the ham at 350 along with the prime rib, only give it a couple minutes less cooking time than usual. Even so, unless it burns, ham is kind of hard to overcook. That is assuming that the prime rib & ham will fit into the oven together. The roaster is a good suggestion, too. We always use one when we make a turkey.

Cook them both at 337 degrees. Or just cook the ham at the higher temperature for less time. All you are doing is heating it up anyway

I was thinking do the prime rib at 325. We all have different answers. :lmao:

Put the ham in at 350. Ham is already cooked as all you are doing is heating it. Just take it out when the inside gets to the proper temp. Maybe cover it with foil also.

An electric roaster will do if I can find one. I was thinking of doing both at 350 but was afraid of drying out the ham.

As usual you guys are the best!

If you are worried about the ham drying out get a basting bag and make sure there is some liquid inside with the ham.

If you have a grill, either one of those can be cooked on it in a pan. The temp. doesn't have to be exact. Just eyeball it and adjust the burners as needed.

I was going to say the same thing. DH always cooks our Thanksgiving turkey on the grill so we have the oven for all the other stuff. You could just use a foil roasting pan, and cover it up with foil, and you'll be fine.
