I have not read the posts, however…

I have my own 4-year-old and I'm mean to her everyday. I don't wait for the codgers to step in. How's that for efficiency?

Very efficient indeed!

I note that the ol' mean lady thread has moved on to regret over how McDonalds has changed the way they make 'fried pies', and comparing said pies to other fast food places.

Oooh! The thread “Union may file a grievance..” has become good! An argument broke out over whether the Boy Scouts is a hobby or not, and I can tell that the next trend will be bashing scoutmasters. Get those opinions in quick before the thread turns again! No need to read the posts, just post your opinion!

I haven't read all the posts in this thread, but it's my policy to state my opinion wherever and whenver I want, especially when it comes to screeching children in Walmart and tag fairies.

Legalsea, I don't want to know where a threads been. I want to know where it's going next! Where's the Magic 8 Ball when you need it?

The Magic 8 Ball is taking a short vacation (it likes to go down to the bowling alley and be 'bowled' around; weird, I know).

I am trying to predict, in my own small way, which way some threads are going. As I stated, the thread about hunger in America has turned into a debate about how the poor would not be hungry if they knew how to cook, while the mean-lady-to-four-year-old-boy thread turned into a melee about the virtues of fried pies.

Please feel free to enter your own predictions about where various threads are headed. For instance, there is one about a candle "tart warmer" that I fear will take a nasty turn due to people not reading all the posts.

Yes, they should be allowed on the CB. Preteen CB posters provide me with a lot of free entertainment....I love reading posts from children pretending to be adults. It's funny.

A 30 something diabetic is not the same as a child that is alergic to every food under the sun.

Go to Denny's for Thanksgiving...order the new eggnog/ pecan pancake concoction they are advertising.

If a 17 year old can do the work of multiple union workers for free...they shouldn't draw attention to it. They shouldn't want people to know that they are THAT disposable.

Oh, BTW, in the thread about the old codger and the 4 year old boy - I am on Team Farter. Team Farter believes everybody played a role in the situation and no one person was wrong and, furthermore, McDonalds causes farts.

Anybody Feed Blue Buffalo?

1. I've never heard of a blue buffalo.

2. Feeding wild animals is illegal in most states.

3. Yes, it can get cold in Buffalo, but I have yet to see anyone turn blue there.

4. This thread should be monitored closely for potential "non-adult" posters. After all, they may not be mature enough to post on this thread.

legalsea you are too funny:lmao:

I predict the thread about mean-lady-and-four-year-old-boy will revert to being all about glitterkitty (because she will make sure it does)

how are you cooking your turkey (which no I have not bothered to even open) will quickly turn into a discussion of better substitutes for turkey before degenerating into an all out food fight worthy of a junior high cafeteria

and the I love that song thread will turn into a debate about whether Lady Gaga is appropriate for old codgers to throw recenetly poked by four year old handbags at.

That is my position as well. Sorry I haven't checked in to show my support to Team Farter yet. I suppose I'll do that soon.

Excellent predictions! I especially will bet on the turkey discussion.

As for the "feeding blue buffalo" thread (mentioned above), it puzzled me too. I assumed at first that it had something to do with drinking. However, that is usually my first assumption about most threads.

ok making me smile is NOT allowed!

This is a thread for those whom wish to express their opinion on another thread, but are somewhat intimidated by the length of the thread and are unwilling to read all 200+ posts in order to be able to intelligently express their opinion.

who, Who, WHO!!!!!

:rolleyes1

I have made that same assumption ... then realized that I should be the one drinking while reading these threads.

most threads can eventually be summed up as:

all parents (other than *me*) are terrible

kids the days :sad2:

teachers are terrible

teachers are great

people need to be more tolerant of kids (mostly *mine*)

cell phones should not be given to anyone under 18

kids need cell phones

and Disney rocks (but is going down the drain quickly)
