I only read some of the replies, but I am sure they were all along the same lines. How humiliating. Although that ignorant man is the one who should be humiliated, not you or your family. I just wish HE realized that!

The Thing I wanted to say to you the most is congrats on saying what you needed and deserved to say!! I would have been driving home with a million thoughts of what I COULD have said if I had had the chance. BUT YOU DID IT! YIPPY FOR YOU!!

I am really touched by everyone's kind words here. Thanks to you all. I was replaying the whole scenario in my head all night, but this morning I felt much better and it's now in the past. I am glad that I said something, because if I hadn't I know I'd regret keeping my mouth shut. I just know that I can never forget what happened. Maybe I didn't change the guy's mind, I doubt that I did. But I am willing to bet that one day he will blurt out something ignorant to someone who is not as "nice" as I was, and who will probably be much bigger and stronger than me I'm a true believer of karma, he'll get what's coming to him one day.

And thank you to everyone for your words of support and thanks for my DH. I know that if he was able to read what everyone said here, he would say that there's no need for thanks... He is just doing his duty, and proud of it.

Trinity sorry for the problem you had but I will say this if the guy was disrespectfull enough to say what he did in the first place he will not even think twice about what you had to say to him. He didn't care when he said it and likeley will not hesitate to say something like that again it is in some peoples nature unfortunateley. Sorry you had to deal with that and don't let it get you down just know you are better than he is and hold your head high.
