I have never felt this way, and hope to never feel this way again...

So well said then, and here, Jenny. What a lowlife he is to talk like that as he did to you and your family. And I am so proud of you that you stood up for your and your hubby's and family's honor. I think you words will ring loudly in his memory for a lifetime. And continued thanks to him, and you guys, for the sacrifices you are all doing, for others, including him.

Atta girl Jenny! I'm sorry you had to go through it but you handled yourself beautifully. I'm proud of you. BTW, your husband and little one are beautiful.

I hope your husband is home safe, sound and SOON!

The guy that said that to you guys sounds like trash. I usually just stay away from people like that. They aren't worth the time that it takes to yell at them.

I love your picture! you have a gorgeous family!:sunny: :sunny:

Jenny

I'm sorry any man can make you feel so sad :(. Please don't give someone like him, an ignorant, disgusting excuse of a man, the power. Istead, take back the power that you showed yesterday and be proud of who you are as a mother, daughter, wife, sister, woman, as a human being, and smile once again. I know it's hard. :(

I wish I was there with you. Sometimes my shopping cart just gets away from me at alarming speeds and heads in the weirdest direction!  ;)

That is the most horrible thing I've heard yet!

If I ever meet this person I shall thoroughly kick him, very hard.

So sorry this happened to you and your family!

I think that what you went back in and said to him was perfect. And the fact that he just "ignored" you proves that he indeed listened and was probably very ashamed at what a jerk he had been. Please try not to think about this anymore, I would hate for this idiot to ruin one more second of your day...

Grateful thanks to your husband, you and your family for serving our country and the sacrificies all of you make for us...

Too bad you weren't near a garbage can....

I wouldn't have been as nice as you were...

OMG! What a horrible experience for you and your family. I'm so sorry that y'all had to go through that.

<font color=navy>What a horrible experience to have to go through. I applaud you for standing your ground, though, and telling that guy off. Good for you!

... and thank you to your dh for fighting for us Americans

Good for you! I'm glad you stood up for your family.
....and thank you for you and your family's service to this country:grouphug:

Well, that man should be ashamed of himself, for many reasons.

You obviously encountered someone without class, civilty, or manners.

Good for you for speaking your mind.

I'm sorry. Please don't let one jerk represent the rest of us. People like that are the ones I would like to ship off somewhere.

Boy did he pick the wrong girl to mess with, way to go Jenny for telling him off!

Well, IMO, people like that are not worth getting angry at. Don't get me wrong, the guy acted despicably. It's sad and disappointing. But, quite frankly, this country is better than that, and you seem to know that. You, your husband and your family make this country a better place.

By the way, thanks to your husband, you and your family for helping defend OUR freedom. Great picture, looks like you've got a terrific family :)

This guy was the worst kind of trash and I hate it that he ruined
your day. He is unworthy of your time in thought. Please try
to put this behind you.

What shortbun said!

 People like that guy make me sick.

You said that you ekbarassed yourself by going back into the store. wrong. the only one who should be embarassed is the racist imbecile who started up with your family.

You didn't embarass yourself, you showed an ignorant fool what dignity, pride and freedom are all about. It takes courage to stand up for what is right. Bravo.

Maybe I only embarrassed myself in front of the people at the store, maybe I shouldn't have gone in.

No way, you handled it VERY well! Maybe this guy needed someone to talk to him this way. You may never know, but your words may have had a tremendous impact on him. At least, that's what I always hope.

Unfortunately, racism is "alive and well" not just here, but all over the world. It also happens between people of the same race and ethnic group. You certainly challenged and proved to this moron that perception isn't reality. Well done!

IMO, you should be proud of the way you handled this incident. ::yes:: ::yes::
