If you are referring to Disneyland (DL), it opened in 1955. Disney's California Adventure(DCA) opened in February of this year. The Downtown Disney area opened in January of this year. They are calling the whole thing including the 3 hotels the DL resort. One of the hotels, the Grand Californian(GC) is located right in the middle of all 3 areas, has it's own entrance directly into DCA and was also opened in January of this year.
