the BEST sister in the world (worm761)!!!

I am not working right now and needed to get new contacts very very badly!! My wonderful sister took me to get some yesterday! I can see again!!

I have been wearing my contacts for over a year now, and they were in terrible shape. Well my eye doctor told me that if I didn't start taking care of my eyes then I would be blind w/ in the next 5 years. My eye sight has changed drastically since my last visit! She basically told me that eventually I will be blind..but I'm hoping that it won't happen until after both of my children are graduated and married!! I have to be able to see at the least those 2 things! Oh and WDW as well!! Sooo...my sister saved me eye sight some time by buying me new contacts. Oh and she got me glasses...not that I will ever wear them outside of the house...NOPE not me in glasses...but I will be able to see when I take my contacts out at night now. That is why I don't take them out! Well I love my sister to peices and I appreciate this more than she will ever know!!! Thank-you Angela!!

You really do have the best sister.

I also wear contacts because I am truly blind as a bat. I wear rigid gas permeable ones because they're the only ones that can correct my vision. Even glasses can't really correct my vision anymore, but I do have pair that I wear to watch TV at night, although I can't see that great out of them.

Another contact wearer here applauding your sister!
I also wear gas perms(astigmatism and nearsighted) and don't see well out of glasses. I wear the contacts most of the time-only wear glasses late at night. I got new contacts this summer and now it seems I am not seeing as well close up .

Your lucky you have a sister like that. Mine wouldn't help anyone if there wasn't something in it for them.

I also have worn contacts for years. Just recently got glasses at Wal*Mart and love them. I never thought I would wear them but I wear them more than the contacts.

Take care of your eyes! You want to be able to look at your grandchildren some day!

your sister's a saint. I wear gas perms (it's the only way my astigmatism stays under control) and I still have to wear reading glasses because I have lazy eyes, and sticky focusing. Working 8 hours on a computer doesn't help either.

Take your contacts out at night. Let your eyes rest. They'll thank you and your contacts will last longer too.
