I already have my reservation booked for September using bounceback but now my parents have decided that want to come....is there any way they would get the same offer if I called Disney and asked for a modification to my current reservation...instead of one room,I would ask for a connecting room and added two extra people to my reservation

Unless it has changed bouncebacks have to match the original reservation exactly (people wise.)

You can book as many rooms as there are adults in the room at the time the BB is offered, but since it must be booked while you're a Disney resort guest, I don't think you would be able to add a 2nd room now. I booked a BB in the past and tried making it a split stay (after I arrived home) and was told that wasn't doable since the 2nd stay would technically be a separate reservation, which isn't allowed under the BB if it wasn't booked that way from the start. Adding a 2nd room now would probably fall under the same thing (separate reservation), but I'm not sure. I would call and ask as you never know, plus the worst they can say is it can't be done. Good luck.

Mickeynut1 is right. If you where still there you could one room in your name & the other room in your husband's name. Once you are gone you can't add another room to same discount. Sorry (

I just called disney and if my parents stay in our room bounceback offer would apply however because they want a separate room, then unfortunately no such luck....it was worth looking into and disney was very helpful

I'm sorry it didn't work out, but I'm glad the CM was helpful. Keep a look out here on the boards over the coming months as maybe a discount will come out for September that your parents can use :goodvibes

DD is going to be there in May with her DBF. The room is in his name but of course she is also listed as a guest. Would she be able to book a BB offer while she is there for the fall with the room in her name and myself and possibly 2 others in the room? Hoping to do a girls only F&W trip. TIA :)

This whole bounceback thing is new to me ... Is it something Disney has to offer or does it just mean you book another visit while you're on site?

It's an offer they give for booking another stay while on site. They don't have to offer it, no. But they typically do.

How do you know if you qualify for a BB offer? Do they call your room or something? Never had one?

thanks aaarcher86,
So Disney does have to offer it to you, then, does it have to be paid during this trip? In full, or deposit?
Also, we're FL residents and always use the resident pricing, do they offer this to residents?
We've been going to Disney yearly since our daughter was born, she just turned 21, but I don't ever remember a bounceback being offered, and have certainly never been offered free dining. Possibly again because of the FL resident?
TIA,
Judy

The DO NOT have to offer a BB. You wouldn't be able to do a BB and a FL resident discount. They're two different discounts. Basically, a bounce back offer gets you a discount now instead of waiting for those Florida rates to come out as your dates get closer.

FD bounce backs are usually offered later in the year. Room discounts are usually offered for most of the year.

The deposit requirements are the same as any other reservation.
