OKAY - IT IS 8:20 PM - AND THE MEET HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR 8 HOURS.

SOMEONE HAS HAD TO LEAVE BY NOW AND IS HOME.

HOW WAS THE MEET -

I called Vince about 4 pm he told me meet started at 2 pm and at 4 pm people were still coming in.. Sounds like it might be an all nighter.. Now what would be new for Vince to close a pin meet at 2 am..

I left at around 6:30 and it was still going strong. I had a blast. Lots of trading, lots of socializing, and lots of Fun! could not imagine having a better time, except if i stayed longer!!

I had to leave about 8:30pm for the long drive home and it was still going strong then. I had a blast but am TIRED now!!! (If only the last bingo number called had been B1 Instead of B5 I would ahve had all of those great LE pins!!!) oh- and the meatballs were great!!!!

Just made it home myself. I left at about 10:00 p.m. after a long, wonderful day. Thank you so much Vince and Suzi for hosting another pin party. I didn't do a lot of trading, but enjoyed spending time with everyone. There were lots of people there. We had a great time.

Renee, glad to see you made it home okay. I was SO tired driving, but I made good time.

Now, I want to know how I missed hearing calls from both Larry and Nat!!!

Okay, so Larry is right. Everyone finally called it quits and the meet is officially over. I was still up for trading, but there is always later this morning. Thanks to everyone who came to the meet!! I think it was a very good time and I even traded more than usual during the meet!! We had pins, games, fun and friends!! Can't ask for more than that. It was the largest Parkhopper Pin Party so far.

Just wanted to say thanks for hosting the party. I really had a great time meeting old faces and new faces. It's so nice being able to put names with faces. Meatballs a little spicy this time? Just kidding, they were great! Denna and I left at 6PM and party still going on strong. Thanks for all the trades.

The flight home was decent......a little shaky on that climb up but other than that the flight was uneventful. I'm really tired and glad to be home.


I met lots of people I've traded with and chatted with and saw some old friends. I made a lot of great trades and saw some great pins. So many people......lots of socializing, games, and great trading. And the food.....meatballs, snacks, salad, chip & dip, calzones, COOKIES (Nat) and that cereal mix was to die for!!!

I finally got to meet Hopkins (Tina).....she's that gal that pointed me to the DIS Board about 3 years ago before the big board crash where we lost all our posts.. Yes, it's all her fault I'm here.

Thanks Vince & Suzi for the bed at the Parkhopper Hotel and for breakfast. I had a great time. Didn't get much sleep though...some gal in the room was tearing out her hair saying "I gotta TRADE, I gotta TRADE." while holding 5 trade books on her lap. She had an uncanny resemblance to Cruella DeVil. What was up with that????

I have to say that the Parkhoppers really know how to throw a party!!

This was my first Parkhopper Pin Party and am soooo glad I went. Traded with a few people, and are realizing some of the people that were there that I did not meet!

Maybe I will be able to make it another time.

Now I gotta get some sleep

Christy----I didn't mention any names did I?? LOL We really did have fun....and I know what Debbie means....everyone should try to make a Parkhopper Pin Meet once in their lifetime. It is worth the trip. Sounds like a road trip Christy for you and the girls.

Had a great time!!! Thanks Vince and Suzi for another great Pin Party. Met several new faces from the boards and got to spend time with some of the faces I've know for a while. Sleep was rationed out. I feel like the Headless Horseman. Think my head is still in MD!!

Had a wonderful time. This was by far the best Parkhopper meet, I am still recovering. I met so many new traders and made loads of trades.

A huge THANKS to Vince & Suzi for the deluxe accomodations - although there was no mint on my pillow when I finally did go to bed. Breakfast was wonderful - thanks again. Hey Tony - yes you can now say you are an Honorary Trooper. Just remember these words "License & Registration, please"

Thanks once again to host and hostess with the mostess--Vince and Suzi! We are all so spoiled having that great space, a bathroom right there, food to eat, and noone saying it's closing time!


Glad everybody who drove and flew all made it home safe and sound--it was great meeting Lisa and Kathie and Debbie--so glad you guys came!

Only one bad thing--"Hopkins" and Diznee Denna left before I could look at their pins!!! How did that happen???

Oops, we missed you. Sorry about that. We left at 6PM. We told the guys we'd be back by 6-6:15PM, so we lied a bid. We got back at around 6:40PM with the men wait on us. LOL! We went out to dinner to celebrate Denna and David's 17th wedding anniversary. We'll be at the next one.
