I Have Another New Guide

Just got an e-mail that I have a new guide, that will be my 5th new guide since mid-2008!! Must be some pretty high turnover there.

I should clarify, I bought resale and have talked to the guides a couple of times, but I've never requested a new guide. Never had a problem with any of them either.

I don't know lugnut, maybe it's a personal problem - are you high maintenance! LOL! (I still have my same guide since 2008.)

I still have my same guide too. We bought in 2003. And she actually called me earlier this year--out of the blue--first time in years. Guess she was wanting to feel me out about buying more points.

All of my guides have been located at Doorway to Dreams in Chicago.

It must be a bad luck of the draw. We've been members since 2008 and still have the same guide. We first chatted with him when we were awaiting news about the BLT rumors. Then we bought BWV resale. We bought GCV from him in 2009. I think he's been around for a while. Maybe some of the newer guides (I'm guessing the ones located in Chicago are relatively new) have a harder time meeting goals or sticking it out. Here's hoping this guide is a keeper!

My post was half tongue in cheek and half making a point.

Your Guides took sales time to talk to you but didn't land the sale. In fact you bought resale which they hate.

If a sales person isn't selling, they replace them with someone who does a better job. The remote sales locations are under additional pressure to perform due to the additional operational costs, mall space isn't cheap.
