I have a wedding planner- Carol Mikles!!!!

Hi Everyone!

I just received a call from my coordinator, Kristi Davis, to tell me that my wedding planner is Carol Mikles (I'm not sure of the spelling of her last name) for my Couture wedding! I'm sooo excited!

I'd really like to get some feed back on her from you all... the good, the bad, and the ugly!

While I'm really sad to have to say goodbye to Kristi, I hope that Carol will be just as nice! I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.

she's our planner too...and although i haven't met her for our planning session yet, i can tell you that she is very quick to respond to emails, and has been very helpful so far!

i recently asked around on the boards if anyone had her, and every person who responded said that she is AWESOME, and that i should consider myself a very lucky bride to have her as our WP! So, i think it's safe to assume that you're in good hands!!!

We have Carol too! So far so good Very nice and quick at responding. I meet her in two weeks for our planning session!

I had Carol and I will tell you that you probably have the best event manager there!!! She was awesome- I emailed her daily and she was always very prompt with answering questions, very sweet. I also liked her because she was not pushy and did not try to get me get a bunch of things I did not want- she listened to me and what I wanted and that is what we did. She was awesome! You are in great hands! She has also been there a long time -

Carol is GREAT! I had Meri at first, but after some problems, we were switched to Carol. I haven't actually met her in person, but I can't say enough great things about her. Even though I've only had her as a planner for a month and a half, I'm trying to decide what to get her as a Thank you gift! Good luck with your planning!

Hey there, Carol is my EM as well. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her!!! she has been very helpful and VERY understanding of our preferences.

Be open with her about everything, she really tries to cater to your needs, and although I haven't met her in person, she is an absolute sweetheart over the phone!

I flew out to San Diego over Memorial Day weekend and met Eric down there, so that pic was taken at the beer sampling area of Sea World. It was tons of fun!!!

Hi Princess110607! I'm glad that you've had a really great experience with Carol. I talked with her today and she seemed really nice. Responding seems to be a problem with some of the DFTW planners (so I've seen on the board), so knowing that Carol is timely is very refreshing! I can't wait to hear how your planning session goes!!

Hi AbbyPan! I can't believe how many of us have Carol! I'm glad to see so many people had such a great experience with her! Thanks for the advice on being open with her. That will be particularly helpful when I talk to her about adding a few things in order to bring in our accent color a bit more. I finally was able to talk to her today and I have to agree that she really is a sweetheart over the phone! I am looking forward to working with her over the next year. I also can't wait to find out more on how your planning goes!
