I figured I would post this here too since there seem to be a decent amount of tech types here at the DIS.
I have an IBM laptop running Windows 2000 Pro and an HP psc950 printer and am having a problem printing. I have a couple of programs that need to use LPT1 (pr LPTx) as the printing port and the HP is a USB printer with no available parallel connection.
Is there any way anyone knows of to use the "Net Use" command to redirect my local LPT port to the USB port?
I have tried printing to a file but some of the reports wrap so that is not working too well as a solution.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
