My daughter was in a play and I'm making copies for all the parents. I have the video camera hooked up to the tv. I have the correct video channel on with the blue screen. I can play and watch the tape from the camera, no problem. When I hit record on the VCR, the sound from the channel also comes through on the blue screen. So I end up taping the play, the audio from the play and the audio from whatever tv show is on at that time too. How do I get rid of the audio from the tv channel? :confused3

Please help, I need to make 20 tapes by tomorrow! I've tried moving the cables every which way.

is your TV or VCR also on the correct channel? Like if it supposed to be on channel 3 is everything on channel 3?

Do you have a seperate line into the VCR (jacks on the front of the VCR) that you could use?

Cable routing should be as follows: Cables out of camera -- Yellow (video), white (left audio) and red (right audio) to the VCR's Line inputs. VCR set for line in, obviously. Some VCR's have more than one set of line inputs -- often a set in the back and occasionally a second set in the front. Additional cables from the VCR's line outputs (Yellow, white and red) to the TV's Line inputs - OR - a coaxial cable from the VCR's output to the TV's input with the TV tuned to the appropriate channel (3 or 4).
