I don't have a Snuggie or a Slanket, but I wouldn't object to owning one! I'm one of those people who's always cold and wrapped up in a blanket anyway.

Just wanted to say something in response to Pete's Snuggie rant on the show this week... When you come to Florida from New York and expect weather in the mid to upper 80's you don't pack for 40 degree temps. We brought one pair of pants each and one sweatshirt each. I did not bring any sneakers because I love my flip flops! In 40 degree weather I was wearing toe socks from Mitsukoshi and we all bought an extra sweatshirt each. With a family of four that will easily turn into a $200 venture. On one particularly cold night I was wearing both of my sweatshirts, Japanese socks with flip flops and was still freezing. I caved and bought a snuggie just to keep warm. Before I could wear it, the kids spilled something all over their blanket we had brought for them and I had to give my snuggie to the kids. Would I normally wear a snuggie and socks with flip flops in public? No way!! BUT, when you don't live within driving distance and don't want to plunk down hundreds of dollars on a new wardrobe from MouseGear, a $30 snuggie is a nice alternative.

Nope! I would have killed for mine last week when we were there! 40 degree temps, sitting on cold ground waiting on parades= cold butt!

I have a slanket. Its longer than a Snuggie. I can tuck it under my feet to keep them warm. And the fabric is a better quality. My favorite chair is in a corner by a window, so it get colder there than in the rest of the room/house. Don't want to heat up the whole house for one corner.
