I have a silly question about 'Mighty Beanz"

I was wondering if any one knows anything about Mighty Beanz. My DS has been talking about them for weeks. Well, I bought him some last night and they don't seem to do anything. My DS told me that they are suppose to race and jump around. I was wondering if there is a trick to get them to move. Any suggestions?

If they're what I'm thinking of...I think you have to put them on a slanted surface and then they will "walk" down it. Are they those little capsule things that have a marble inside them?

My son says you have to roll them on your hand, or something that's flat enough that they'll roll. He says they don't do much, they just sort of flip up or roll over.
