I have a secret!

I'm not sure if this is the right place...
So we (my husband, myself, my daughter and her boyfriend) are going to Disney World arriving August 9. Last week I was talking to said boyfriend and he is planning on proposing to my daughter on our trip...I'm am so excited BUT I have to keep a secret from her and I'm terrible at that. Wish me luck, can't wait to help start planning the Disney Wedding!

I am so excited for you!! Take tissues, I cried like a baby when SIL proposed in front of the castle to my oldest daughter. She was cool and collected and I was a mess.

LOL Thanks! Yeah I'm a big softy! I'll need tissues for sure but my daughter and soon to be future son in law are too and will probably need them too!

I could have written this post except substitute my son will be proposing to his girlfriend. He just told me a week ago We will be there almost the same time as you. August 4-11. Does he know how he'll do it yet??
Our trip was supposed to be a celebration for adopting our foster baby but it's not going to happen in time. I had planned on a family portrait session to commemorate the adoption. But we are still keeping the session and he will propose at the end of it.
I am really bad at keeping secrets too!! I'm gonna bust!!

Thanks for all the excitement and well wishes. He is planning on doing it at the wishing well by Cinderella Castle on our first day. She'll be on cloud 9 the rest of the trip! I will be lagging behind and hope to catch some photos. I am a photography enthusiast so me slowing down to snap a bunch of pics on a tripod with a fancy lens will arouse no suspicion. I am so excited and can't wait to share the excitement with my daughter. luckily she does live with her boyfriend and not me...or I would have given it away already!

Congratulations!
I just went thru that in Feb. I had to keep my mouth shut for a whole month, it almost killed me. We were going on vacation anyway and the BF asked if he could propose while we were there, knowing it was my daughter's favorite place. They are both college kids and it was so special to be a part of that. And YES, you'll be crying like a baby. I did, fortunately my son was there to take pictures.
Keep us posted on the wedding. I just logged back on today to get answers on planning the wedding.
