I have a question

K, in October I think it was, we were telling stories about Disney World, and there was one about this guy that died while making Pirates of the Carrabean, and I was trying to remember what the guys name was, but I can't remember. Can anybody tell me? My family is going to Disney World in June.

I think I know the story you're referring to.

There's a Disney legend (or is it...?) of a ghost named George who haunts PotC at WDW. I'm not real familiar with the story, but methinks he was a contruction worker who was killed in the process. Legend has it, that cast members must greet George each day upon arriving at PotC, and if they do not, or if a guest denies that George exists, george will break the ride down and make things difficult on the CMs that day.

I don't even know if this is the story you are referring to, but that's the one I know about. hope I was some sort of help.

i tried it and i got so freaked out. well, i was going to do it but i got freaked out so i didn't... but my obnoxious (sp?) brother did it. I covered my eyes and started screaming. Then my mom was sitting behind me and she put her hand on my shoulder which scared me even more so i screamed louder because i thought it was George or something. Then my mom had to yell my name even louder and eventually i stopped. Then the boat stopped moving, so that freaked me out a little b/c i wasn't sure if a handi capped person was getting on... or something else

I could never bring myself to do anything that might stop a ride at Disney. Even if it would be creepy-cool. Ride stoppages are inconveniences to most people.
