I have a question

I had to remove the smilies from my signature. Is there some new regulations about the sigs I missed? It was more interesting with the smilies there.

(Oooh, I just got it when I had three smilies in the MESSAGE, though it said SIGNATURE. Hmmm, let's see what happens now...)

Yes, I think that's right -- good call on that one. I don't know why smileybrat would have had to change her sig (assuming it was legal all along).

I never had a problem with it before until I tried to remove a line yesterday. It made me delete 2 smilies that have been there for awhile. I don't know why I had to remove them now.

Due to our sigs and smilies too much band width was being used up. Pete had to put a max of 2 images/smilies per post /sig combined.

If you have too many images/smilies in your sig you can still post, but without anymore images/smilies.

If you try to edit your sig you will be forced to reduce the number of images/smilies in your sig.

If you do not edit your sig it will remain as it is.

I had a clipart image and 4 smilies in my signature. When I tried to remove the clipart, I also had to remove the smilies. The new rules now are two images per post and two per signature. If you have more than two images in your signature and leave your signature alone, the images will stay. But if you try to change anything in your signature, you'll have to change things by the new rules and limit your images to two.

Does that make sense?

So only 2 smilies per post/sig. Oh well. Rules are rules. I just moved the smilies from my countdown clock. I didn't realize they counted too.

I'm so confused, all this made sense. I had to delete my smiley out of my siggy too when I changed one of my pics in my siggy.

Wily has posted on another thread that Pete did not realize that smilies would be affected by his restriction of 2 images per post and sig.
Pete has modified his update to allow up to 8 images/smilies.
