I have a question.

I am sorry, but I think this was posted before, but I can not seem to find the post.
Do the people on this board who wish to be recognized at Disney, don't they attach a Lime Green Mickey somewhere where it can be seen? If so, do you put your scree name on it?

I think most people do put their screen names on them but I know when we were there last year we saw a couple LGMH's that did not have any writing on them...

So do you have to be a veteran in order to partake in this?? I am going in November 30-December 6. I have found quite a few of the Ears from HD, and would LOVE to be part of this family!!

It is so greatly addicting and allows me to be my crazy planning self with the rest of you...

I am still pretty new to the boards and I hung mine on my backpack with no screen name. I didn't see any others nor did anyone approach me I was a little disappointed. I also used them on my checked luggage. Really easy to find on the luggage carousel.

No you don't have to be a veteran to partake at all. I was only a member for 2 mths I think before we went on our trip last year. I saw a few LGMH's but no one approached us and we didn't approach anyone. hopefully next time we go it will be different....there is apparently a greeting as well if you look around on the board there is a thread about it....

There is a greeting, but it is mostly in jest. Honestly you are best to just go up to someone with a LGMH and say "Hi! I am on the DIS too!" Sometime you get a smile and "great" and not much else and sometimes you make a friendship that is still alive years later-- I met a fellow board member here in the All Star Movies cafeteria about 3 years ago and we still talk almost every day here on the boards and recently got together again when she was vacationing near me, and we are going on a Ladies only Disney trip in Oct together.

So just wear your LGMH proudly and if you see me in October (see my siggy, I am nearly impossible to miss!) please come up and say "Hi"!
