I have a question about family style meals

What is it? I have never hear of it before in resturant terms
when I look under the menus in some of the buffet areas some say they are served family style
do they just keep bringing you food and the reg buffet you go get the food?

They bring you a big platter and set it in the middle of the table and you serve your family what they want from that platter onto their plates. If you need more of anything, they bring it out. Some family style meals also have a "cold board" which is served buffet-style.

Family style means they bring big platters of food to your table. You don't get to order off of a menu, you just pick what you want off of the platter. And they will keep bringing platters as long as you keep eating.

I haven't had one at Disney in a few years, but...

They serve the food on family size platters, which they bring to your table. You can still have as much as you'd like. It's a little less hectic than buffet style.

And family style is much more single-parent friendly than buffet. Far and away!

I kind of thought thats what it ment but you never know lol
We are traveling with another family with 4 teenage boys and they can eat so we were wanting to hit buffets and things we know would fill them up lol
