This year we are not going to celebrate anything..but next year we are going to take our daughter back in Feb. (2007) to celebrate her birthday in April. We won't have a party for her at home that year...and we will fly down her family (close family) to WDW to celebrate with us for a week. And we plan on taking full advantage of all that WDW has to offer for birthday girls. Even though her birthday won't be until April. (we choose not to go in April..b/c of the busy season) But she won't be having a big party here in April, * just one with us * b/c she will be celebrating it at WDW. So...I tottally think that alot of people do their celebrating at WDW outside of the actual day of the birthday..and that is okay too. Who cares what other people are doing. Enjoy your day..and let other people enjoy theirs..I am sure that some people are "taking advantage of the system" but I am sure their are others who have legit reasons for having a birthday party at WDW not on the actual day of the birthday. I know most of the kids in my extended family celebrate their birthdays outside of the actual day with other family members and then spend the actual day with thier parents..b/c its easier to have a big party on a Saturday night than it is to have the party on a Tuesday work/school night.
