I have a point transfer question

I have 2 different SSR contracts with the same use year(December). I borrowed a few points from my 2007 allotment on both contracts to book a New Year's trip for my sister, who had to bail at the last minute because my nephew got sick. These points are now in holding. Can I transfer the remaining 2007 points to another member to use in Feb. 2008 without touching the holding points, or will I need to commit the holding points to a reservation first? Is this too confusing? I thought I would ask here before totally confusing someone at MS. Thanks!

Yes, you can transfer the other 2007 points to another member without dealing with the Holding Account points. I think MS will even allow you to transfer the Holding Account points - although they will retain that status and cannot be banked once transferred.
