I have a few questions, maybe someone can help me?

These may be silly questions, but I hate to not ask and then wish I had.

1. I am flying southwest. I booked on line and printed up my proof and conf numbers. What do I do now? Is there no such thing as actual tickets anymore? I haven't flown in many many years.

2. I got my Magical express booklet. On the second page it has our names and then says "no flight information provided". Should there be flight info provided? Is this important?

3. Is there anything I need to know or do about getting on my SW flight? I feel a little lost right now.

Thank you.

Not usually. Most tickets are paperless. All you need is your confirmation number.

I don't know anything about ME, but there are stickies at the top of this page explaining everything you might want to know about it.

The only thing you need to know about SWA is their boarding process/check-in procedures. There are many, many threads here about this. You can also read a detailed explanation on their web page.

My SWA 2 cents:
They no longer take cash for adult beverages. Bring your debit card.
Do online check in 24 hours before your flight. There is a mobile app for it too.

Have fun!

With Southwest, you'll check in online 24 hours in advance. You'll want to do this as close to the 24 hour mark as possible, since you don't have an actual seat. In their boarding process, business people go first, then people who did Early Bird Check In ($10 per person, each way), then it goes in order of when you checked in online.

When you check in online, you'll also be able to print out a ticket. Then when you get to the airport, all you have to do is check your bags.

Forgot to add:
ME does need your flight info, so they can schedule you on a bus. They need to know if they need to be at a certain resort at a certain time. They also need the info so that they can check you in and print your plane tickets at the resort. Call Disney or if there's a direct number for ME call them. They'll need your flight numbers and airline.

Thnak you so much!! Just called the ME and they updated our flight info so we should be all set right?

I think I will go ahead and do the early bird check in. we leave at 6 am, so 24 hours before that...I will be sleeping, lol.

A few clarifications here...
DME doesn't 'have' to have your arrival flight info in order to schedule you on a bus. They need only a ball park figure as to how many are arriving on any given day. Yes, you can give them flight info when booking but I have had many inaccuracies in my flight info for my arrival with DME.
You can actually give them your departure info when you get to MCO or at the resort. And yes, they need exact flight info at this point in order to schedule the correct stops at the right times at the right resorts.

As to DME needing to know so they can check you in and print boarding passes...nope. That's for RAC (remote airline checkin) to do. They are NOT DME employees and have nothing whatsoever to do with DME. In fact, anyone can use them...even if not riding DME back to the airport!

Just wanted everything to be clear.

Thanks. I did call, and to be honest she acted like she really didn't care. It was obvious at that point that it was unnecessary information. But since I ahve many OCD behaviours, it does make me feel better that they have it:rotfl:
